Welcome![edit source]

Hello, FishDish, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:FishDish/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  -- -- The Zombiebaron 22:17, December 16, 2010 (UTC)

AAN[edit source]

Howdy. I responded on my talk page to your noob queries. --Black Flamingo 12:00, December 17, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I've dropped off the logo on your userpage (which is vital to the process, by the way). Basically just leave me a message if you want to know anything, and I'll also keep an eye on what you're doing in case there's anything you're doing wrong. Oh, and you'll be staying with Mrs. Flamingo weekdays 'cause I have things to do. --Black Flamingo 15:57, December 17, 2010 (UTC)

Buy our products[edit source]

Hey there. The article in question is coming along ok so far, nice work. Just be careful about where you go with it, don't stray too far from the current style and don't rush the ending like a lot of new writers do. I would probably advise against the whole "ending with a bloodsplat" thing as it's been done dozens of times. However the idea of "this is what happened to the last guy who just wanted to use the restroom" is a good one, and could probably work if you did it as an ordinary image (ie. as a thumbnail, and aligned to the left or right - and maybe find a better image too, like of a dead guy or something). But apart from that it seems to be going well, keep it up. --Black Flamingo 10:47, December 27, 2010 (UTC) Hey --PUTTYStab Pinata.jpg207 image.jpg 02:26, January 4, 2011 (UTC)

Your article[edit source]

I have moved it here as the construction tag showed you hadn't edited it for a week and it still appears unfinished. If you have any questions about this then you can ask me or you can ask the splendid fellow who has adopted you. Good luck with it. --ChiefjusticeWii 08:43, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

References[edit source]

What you do is, put the text you want for the reference in the place you want the little number to be, like this:

Eggs are nice. <ref>Especially the big ones.</ref>

Then at the bottom of the article, put this:

==References==
<references/>

This should give you the effect of a little number, which will link you down to the list of footnotes. Hope that makes sense! --Black Flamingo 22:15, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

Howdy Fish[edit source]

How's it going? You still around? Or a square? Or a triangle? --Black Flamingo 23:20, February 24, 2011 (UTC)

I knew it! Square? Triangle? You're already using parts of my theory! Aleister 23:21 24-2-'11
Pure coincidence, brother. I'm not on the phone to New Scientist Monthly right now, definitely not. --Black Flamingo 23:23, February 24, 2011 (UTC)
