The name Cory is commonly given to males, and occasionally females. From a surname which was possibly either derived from the Old Norse given name Kori (of unknown meaning), or "ravine" in Gaelic, "Hollow" in Irish, "seething pool" in Scottish, "horn" in French, translated from the word "cornell".......haha, i mean horn :)
