From Pee Review[edit source]

I'll admit I've probably bitten off a lot more than will fit in my gaping maw at once, but I had an idea and ran with it. Ran right into a brick wall with it, apparently. I'm trying to define "Kids Today" as some unique creature/species with standard "when I was your age" expressions mixed in. And I've run out of ideas. Can anyone give me a few suggestions, or is this idea just not that good to begin with?

(Note: That links to a temp page under my userpage so I don't make a mess in the real Uncyclopedia with it) --CaptainSpam MUN PUTPBAA 07:30, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

Hmm... Well, it could use some links of course :], but it looks to be mostly true. I'd suggest upping the satire a bit, but hmm.. not sure how one would go about doing that. Also, I'm not sure if the image is really effective. I'll get back to you as (if) I think of more. :] --KATIE!! 09:54, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
Well, links, yes. I'm just more of "write first, ask questions make links later". :-) As for the image, there's most likely better ones out there. I'm just a slight fan of recycling images if I can. This was probably not the finest example of this philosophy, but... um... yeah. Must find better image.

Now, upping the satire... about all I can think of is trying to make it entirely in oldperson speak and drop the dry encyclopedic parts. Not sure if that'd help, and I'm not sure I want to add another gimmick article to the mess. That's... all I got. I can't think of how to make it less truthy, either.

But, thanks for the help so far! --CaptainSpam MUN PUTPBAA 19:21, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
It's a pretty funny idea. However, the idea of an older person grumbling about the "kids today" seems to already be the joke used in the featured article, Teenagers. If this goes forward, it should go in a way that differentiates it from that article significantly. --Nakedman 21:06, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, that kinda threw a wrench in the works, too. The way I was going with it was more "scientific", slightly, but in the end, it'd be effectively the same article. Worse with Teenagers (Animal) in the mix. Ah, well. --CaptainSpam MUN PUTPBAA 00:23, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
