The Longer Version of The Welcome[edit source]
Hey there BlueSpace, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thanks for your contributions. I hope you like it here. If not, I'm sure life will go on elsewhere. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:
- Uncyclopedia:Beginner's Guide to Being an Uncyclopedian
- Our Vanity Policies - We don't want to read an entire article about your friend, because we don't know your friend to begin with. Also, that sort of stuff upsets the admins...
- How to be funny and not just stupid. - This is highly recomended read before you start doing anything. You wouldn't believe how many people make things that aren't nearly as funny as they might think.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. It's recommended that you start your early work in your userspace and then move it to main space. Lets say you wanted to do an article on Joe Strummer. You could create this in your userspace as User:BlueSpace/Joe Strummer) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well. Try not to mess with other people's articles without asking them, unless it's to fix a grammar or spelling error or if it's tagged to be rewritten.
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you.
