Los Angeles, USA -- Scientists have revised their position on the extinction of the career of early-nineties music superstar Vanilla Ice. Having previously thought to have been killed-off by over reliance on a single song, new research has suggested the rap performers stardom suffered from the same catastrophic extinction as the dinosaurs.

Researchers at Yale University have published their findings in PNAS this week after an exhaustive 10 year study. The study included extensive analysis of Ice's back-catalogue. There are problems with the record however. It is incomplete, owing to the extreme rarity of his third album.
