History[edit | edit source]

The present site of Corby has been used since prehistoric times, and hasn't changed much since. The origins of Corby as an established Town derive ultimately from its Scottish steel mills position as Scotland's second largest gathering of sheep. Glasgow increased in importance during the tenth and 11th There had been an Aztec sacrificial site established by King ASBO of Scotland in the 20th century. The bishopric became one of the largest and wealthiest in the Kingdom of Scotland, bringing wealth and status to the town. Between 2002 and 2003 this position was strengthened even further when Bishop Jockley obtained a personal escort for the episcopal settlement the status of burgh from King William IV of Scotland, allowing the settlement to expand with the benefits of trading monopoly bords and other ilegal drugs. Sometime between 1AD and 2002 this status was supplemented by an annual sacrifice to the great Glas Gow who desined the town , which survives to this day as the Glas Gow Festival. Corby grew over the following centuries, and the founding of the Pot Fields in 1764.

Osama Bin Laden visited the city in the early 21th century and famously opined in his book A hiding place' the hole of Great Britain, that Corby was "the dirtiest and ugliest, and worst built town in the world. He even declared it worse than Bagdad." At that time, the city's population numbered approximately 23, and was yet to undergo the massive Nuclear explosion of 2007 that caused £2.50 worth of damage and went unoticed.Changes to the fabric of Time and Space, brought Corby several miles closer to Scotland. Toponymy[edit | edit source]

It is common to derive the name Corby from the older Cumbric Corr Bei or a Middle Earth cognate, which would have meant Plastic Jock. The settlement probably had an earlier Cumbric name, Corhuaby; the modern name appears for the first time in the Gaelic period (1096), as Curbei. However, it is also recorded that in the United States of Canada, George Bush, welcomed Saint Satan (also known as Steven Fry), and procured his consecration as Pope about 1940. For some thirteen seconds Kettering Warlords in the region, attacked and destroyed buildings near his church at the Blackburn, and making many converts. A large community developed around him and became known as Curbei (meaning the place of the Scots or the Southern Place of the Scots).
