Blue are a British boyband formed in 1995, consisting of members Jack Gerrard, Sean Conlon, Abs Breen, Jason "J" Brown and Scott Robinson

The group released their debut album "Got The Feeling" in September 1995 which debuted at #1 in the UK and featured five UK top ten singles. The following year, "Invincible" was released as their second album, reaching #4 in the UK, and featured their first UK #1 single "Keep On Moving". In September 1997, the group released their third album "Kingsize" which entered the UK charts at #3. Following a short break, Gerrard did not return to the group in 1999 following heated arguments with Brown.

In 1999, the newly-reformed quartet returned with their fourth album "Another Level" which only managed to peak at a disappointing #13 in the UK. In 2000, "Nexus" was released as their fifth studio album, failing to crack the top ten by peaking at #17. After this, the group were dropped from RCA Records. In September 2000, the group announced that Brown had left the group and would be replaced by former member Gerrard.

The group signed a four album deal with Island Records and released their sixth studio album "All Rise" which became their second UK #1 album and featured their fourth and fifth UK #1 singles "Too Close" and "All Rise" whilst the lead single "All Rise" became their first to crack the UK top ten since 1998. In 2002, "One Love" was released as the seventh album from the group, becoming their third UK #1 album and was followed by their fourth UK #1 album "Guilty" in 2003. Their first compilation album, "The Collection" was released in November 2004 and reached #6 in the UK. Following the release, the group revealed they would be taking a break to concentrate on solo projects.

In 2007, it was reported the group were planning on reforming. Gerrard and Conlon revealed they wouldn't return to the group due to respective solo deals with Sony Music Entertainment. Breen, Brown and Robinson revealed they would return as a trio but any new material failed to materialise and the reunion was dropped. The group, with Gerrard, Conlon, Breen and Robinson as members, returned for a 15th anniversary show and revealed a new album would be released. In 2011, the group represented the UK at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, coming 11th with their track "I Can" which scored 100 points.
