Blue are a British boy band, consisting members Lee Ryan, Simon Webbe, Duncan James and Anthony Costa, that were originally active between 1995 and 2004. The group originally formed under a different line-up consisting of Ryan, Aaron Miller, Jackson Bailey, Daniel Shaw and Michael Jones. The group released on album before Shaw and Jones were kicked out of the group and were replaced by Marvin Naylor and Karl Gallagher. Gallagher only released one album with the group before leaving. The group decided to not replace him, instead carrying on as four-piece. The group only managed to release another album before original member Bailey and Naylor were replaced by Duncan James and Anthony Costa. The new line-up released two albums before Miller left the group due to illness and was replaced by Simon Webbe. This line-up released three studio albums before splitting up.

The group are the best selling musical group of the 1990's and 2000's, selling 193 million albums and 52 million singles worldwide since their debut in 1995, giving them 245 million overall sales.
