Highgate is an area of north London on the north eastern corner of Hampstead Heath.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Highgate is noted for its cemetery, which contains the remains of many of Britain's foremost former residents, and for Highgate School, which produces polite underachievers.
The area is divided between three London boroughs: Islington, which is monied and fashionable; Camdem, which is monied and fashionable; and Harringey.
