UnNews:Reagan rises from the dead and announces his 2008 candidacy[edit source]
Might be a bit outdated because Romney has since dropped out anyway, but I still think it is funny. Many of my friends thought it was a good read, and it was the "lead article" on UnNews for a bit. I'd like to know if there is any way to improve on it. Gage 04:27, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

The first paragraph, to me, doesn't have a single really funny line in it, although I'm sure you could find something to insert about the candidates dropping out. The second paragraph was admittedly good, especially "McCain was a hawk like him on defense". The "Reagan gets discriminated" spin is fairly good, but could use expansion on how it discriminates against him. |
| Concept: | 6 | The idea to twist all of the Republican candidates all being like Reagan is a fairly decent one. However, it's an election article. That means that there are always going to be some tired jokes in there (i.e. the image caption). They are hard to avoid in this type of article, and you have done a fairly good job of limiting them. |
| Prose and formatting: | 8 | Nothing majorly wrong here, just a couple of missed full stops (after "my ignorance") and the first clause of the the third paragraph (The only...chance of winning) seems a bit long and could use a comma. |
| Images: | 7 | Bush jokes are, as I said above, cliché. However, this still gets a good score on the quality of the 'chop (at least at that resolution). If you had done, say, one of the other candidates with Reagan, it could have been funnnier. |
