PEE REVIEW IN PROGRESS

Hyperbole is engaged in the dual processes
of giving you his opinion and pretending you care.
Humour: 2 Really? You put this up for Pee Review? It's a good thing you specified "quick," because I don't know if I could possibly do an in-depth review of this.

Okay, well, I can identify two, perhaps three, maaaaybe four jokes here. And I will list them, for your viewing pleasure:

  1. Satire: Monsters are supposed to be scary, but Cookie Monster is not scary.
  2. Misdirection: You see that there's discussion on the page, so you click to see people say "This should be QVFD'ed," but it's the Cookie Monster again.
  3. (possibly) Misdirection: the article says it won't scare you, so you expect it to scare you, and then it doesn't scare you.
  4. (possibly) Silliness: Cookie Monster looks silly.

Joke 1 isn't funny. Joke 2 is very, very mildly funny, like "Oh, ha, he surprised me there." Joke 3 isn't really very funny. Joke 4 isn't yours.

Overall, man, not a great article. It's just a picture, and then another picture where you wouldn't expect it to be.

To be fair, Uncyclopedia has a number of articles that are little more than a single picture, like disguise and a wizard did it and UnBooks:Boop!. However, I submit to you that I like those three articles more than I like this one. Disguise is a hilarious visual pun - a website trying to look like a person by putting on a fake mustache. A wizard did it is funny mostly because of the way Dexter is so completely obsessed with it and whores it all over the site. It's like a train wreck: fun to watch. UnBooks:Boop! is something I enjoy because I am one year old.

You might notice something that all three of those articles share two things in common: a short title and a simple concept. This article contains neither of those things. Which brings us to:

Concept: 1 What the heck is the concept of this article?? I guess it's that it promises not to be scary, but it isn't, and then when you think "is that all?" and click on discussion to see what you're missing, you just get the same picture again.

Is that even an article concept?

Prose and formatting: 3 There's really no prose or formatting to score. I guess I'll give it a three for no reason.
Images: 7 Sure, Cookie Monster is cute and ineffective at scaring people.
Miscellaneous: 1 Uno
Final Score: 14 Okay, so this is where I offer helpful advice.
You can do it ALL NIGHT LONG!

This article is finished. It's the kind of article that is 80% likely to face speedy deletion, 15% likely to be VFD'ed eventually, and 5% likely to be tolerated as sort of cute and harmless. It cannot particularly be improved. It's done.

So, my advice to you is: Welcome to Uncyclopedia! Why not write an article? Maybe one that isn't about Nintendo characters fucking each other.

It's not really that hard. Here's the formula: 1) think of something that you know something about; 2) make fun of it; 3) don't include any references to Chuck Norris, characters from video games, gay sex, incest, masturbation, Captain Obvious, the year 892987098 B.C., SPARTAAAAA, or popular TV shows.

What do you like, man? What do you hate? What do you fear? What makes Magic man tick? What have you spent a lot of time thinking about? If you can answer these questions, you, too, can write a featured article.

YOU CAN DO IT!
