I'm sorry but I found the humour kind of stupid and very weak. However, I feel the article may have potential. I suggest you make it into a kind of a parody of tobacco companies pretending their product isn't addictive. You could have the head of some rat poison company drink it "having a bit of a sleep at the press conference table". You could say that previous deaths from rat poison in food were blamed on terrorists and lead to George Bush invading Kentuckistan.

WAY too short. I fixed a lot of spelling mistakes but their might be some that Firefox spellcheck failed to pick up (especially grammar errors) so check again.

Fine. Nothing special. The image isn't really funny as such. Perhaps you could have another of some happy, family rat poison: "Uncle Joe's Rat Poison".
