LONDON, United Kingdom -- The waiting is over! The BBC today revealed that the companion for the next series of Doctor Who will be Marge Simpson. 34 year old Marge will star alongside new Doctor Matt Smith when the TARDIS returns to BBC One in spring 2010.
Head writer and Executive Producer Steven Moffat declared, "We saw some amazing actresses for this part, but when Marge came through the door the game was up. Funny (for her jokes in The Simpsons), and clever (oh come on you seriously don't think Lisa's Intelligence was inherited by that Dumbass Homer) , and gorgeous (Just look at that beautiful blue hair), and sexy (as seen in the picture with Matt Smith). Or American, which is the quick way of saying it. A generation of little girls will want to be her,a generation of little boys will want them to be her,a generation of children will like the crossover with the simpsons and a generation of adults will be masturbating over her."
Executive Producer and Head of Drama BBC Wales Piers Wenger said, "We knew Marge was perfect for the role the moment we saw her big blue hair and large breasts. She brought an energy and excitement to the part that was just fantastic. And when she auditioned alongside Matt we knew we had something special."
As Marge will be the new companion it has been confirmed that the new series will feature cameos of the Simpsons family and other characters. also all episode where the Doctor and Marge go to present day Earth (Which is pretty much every Goddamn episode) it will be set in Springfield and not London. Writer and Simpsons creator Matt Groening has announced he will write episodes along with Steven Moffat and there have been rumors in The Sun (which means it has a 0.01% chance of being true) that the finale will feature the Daleks teaming up with Kang and Kodos.
Matt Groening views on this news is "I am proud for one of my characters to star in Doctor Who and in the new series expect many features from the Simpsons to appear and vice versa for the new Simpsons season. Marge's daughter Lisa Simpson has said "I am glad that my mom is in doctor who I will teach her to be smart about science in the show and i also hope she will stop the shows violence (what makes it good) and teach morals to the viewers."
Marge's father-in-law Grampa Simpson has said "Homer's Marge is great as the doctor's companion although she may be crap at being funny, singing, fighting, being the doctor's companion but she is great as a Porn star". Marge's son Bart Simpson has said "Doctor Who is cool, man, and hopefully it will make my uncool mom cool. Marge's Husband Homer has said "I am glad that Marge is in Doctor Who but if that dirty BASTARD Matt Smith tries to flirt with her hes fucking dead. Moe is also glad for "Midge" too."
