As you turn around to leave the laboratory, you hear an outraged scream of "This isn't Big Wed!" and the sound of a shotgun being loaded. (This sound is very distinct, and in fact cannot ever be mistaken for anything else.)

You are in a room filled with pieces of scientific equipment, the most impressive of which is a large empty cylinder hooked up to a bunch of little cylinders. It looks like a transporting device, but of course you can't be sure about that.
