I remember reading about the gazebo as an AD&D creature a long time ago... circa 1997 or such... I ROTFLed at the time as much as i do today .... (nemmo)

That's actually what I kind of based this article on. A few years ago I posted a "Monster Manual" entry for the Gazebo on the D&D message boards...they loved it there, and I'm glad to see that it's loved here, too! --RadicalX 00:18, 30 Apr 2005 (EDT)

So weird... one day a couple of years ago, I randomly decided to draw a grue on the gazebo I hang out on at school... I didn't notice any negative reactions to the so called 'enemy' at the time, but when I returned to school after the next summer, there were more gazebos, a WHOLE PACK OF GAZEBOS...
