Talk:Adam and Eve
So the Wanker of the Month tried to stop this cool article. Proxima Centauri 16:47, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, I tried to kill the stub. If it were a new article, I would have just QVFD'd it. Now go away so I can try again.
- And, as expected, you failed to make it anything more than a stub. Reverted back to a redirect again.
And since you both posted all over the place I'll post my remark here
Boomer - I don't see any reason to move it to Proxima's user space. It is not mandatory to write up articles in a user space, that's what the construction tag is for. I'd rather you don't revert articles that were written in good faith - but rather put an expand tag or post some suggestions on the talk page. A short article (or an attempt to make one) is always better, in my opinion, then a redirect.
Proxima - first, we don't have the 3 revert rule. That's wikipedia. We have the "piss of the admins and they ban you rule". Second, next time try to discuss it with Boomer (or any other user) before posting the issue with admins.
- I tried to discuss it with Boomer. i got the impression that discussing it with him just made him keener to carry on objecting to the article. Therefore I cut things short and contacted admins. Proxima Centauri 16:53, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
You two have now involved four admins in this one, with at least two of them are bound to shoot first, destroy the earth, drink a cup of tea and maybe then ask questions. Next time, try to discuss it between you two OK?20:41, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
And some additional remarks for you Proxima: formatting, categories, more content and I'd remove the injoke. There's enough to write on these two as it is.20:42, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ahh, is that my Tea mr Mordillo sir? Thank you very much... MrN 20:45, Jun 26
I've expanded it and removed the tag. Proxima Centauri 16:53, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Pissed on here
Totally whacked it
IMHO it stank, except for the paragraph from One Eyed Jack (which was pasted in with no attempt at harmonizing it with the surrounding text) and the quotes at the beginning. So I kept them and replaced everything else. It may still stink but at least it stinks differently. And what's more it's even sort of educational. Snarglefoop (talk) 21:54, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
