Ahh yes, the 1980's what a wonderful time, Atari, arcades, Rick Astley. But what would it be like if AOL chatrooms existed in the 1980's on those old thicc terminal computers? Let's go back in time with some professional coders, and code a simple chatroom into existence. It has a black background with green text, very simple right? lets release it on a floppy disk to the public at some random strip malls in Texas for $14.99 and see what happens.

Room 1[edit | edit source]

Seems two users are active now in room 1:

[16:36] Atariman: I fucked your mom last night.
[16:36] Galagabird: What the hell dude, what's your damage?
[16:37] Galagabird: You're gonna get lit in the lunchroom tomorrow at school.
[16:37] Atariman: Let's brawl!

You can see that these two want to fight in person unlike Millennials, that would either cry, or become keyboard warriors.

Room 2[edit | edit source]

Two more users are active now in room 2:

[17:00] Frogger69: H H EEEEE L L OOO   !!

                   HHHHH EEEEE L L O O  !!
                   H H E L L O O  !!
