Hey there fellows. I am trying to get one of those template signatures to work, which SHOULD come out as Warm Regards, Javascap (The colours are all random) but when I put the {}'s around them, they arrive as Warm Regards, ▀ĴαVắśСąР▀ Any advice on how I can fix this mangled mess?

Check the "Raw signature" box. Also, your signature should be in a template page in your userspace and it should be put into the "Nickname" box as . --Sir Starnestommy Icons-flag-us.png (TalkContribsCUN) 19:17, Apr. 12, 2008
All right, I will give that a shot, thanks for the response. Warm Regards, Javascap
ATTENTION: I don't think that {} counts as much of a signature.Warm Regards, Javascap
Did you follow Starness' instructions? ~Jewriken.GIF 12:07, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
I did, and all I got out of it was {}. My signature currently resides in User:Javascap/sig, if that is any help. Warm Regards, Javascap
Did you put this code - or "yourusername"? ~Jewriken.GIF 12:17, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
I did put in that code, and replaced the sig with <font color=Random colour>Warm</font> <font color=Random colour>Regards,</font> <font color=col>Javascap</font>, which is my signature in raw code. Warm Regards, Javascap
And here is where your problem lies. You need to direct to the signature template, which in your case is user:javascap/sig. You don't need to put the entire sig code on your preferences. So just put this one , tick the raw signature box and that's it. ~Jewriken.GIF 12:29, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
I am still highly confused, and the end result of "ticking the signature box" (which I assume means click on it) is nowhere near as colourful as I would like it to be. Warm Regards, Javascap
That has to do with the definitions in your actual sig template, nothing to do with the preferences. You need to change your sig colors. ~Jewriken.GIF 12:40, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
