Clorox is a Pubic company, selling Bleach and doing Broadcasting. Commonly known for its ownership of the Clorox Bleach brand, upon others. It’s broadcasting arm that has roughly around 83 Television stations, 56 LP-TV stations and 10 radio stations, known as Bleachy Broadcasting. The company has gotten sued by the anime for “stealing” the name. The bleach came first, so now Bleach: The Anime is forced to plaster Clorox ads all over the books, and launch a spin-off of someone working at WLVI.

History of Clorox[edit | edit source]

“Humble” beginnings and massive growth[edit | edit source]

The corporation started in 1877, when they 1st created bleach in Virginia. They celebrated it so much, they immediately began selling it in the Hampton Roads and they LOVED it.The corporation quickly expanded and still has a monopoly over the bleach industry to this day.

Broadcasting[edit | edit source]

The company decided to use their money in 1935 to begin funding television and either purchasing or making new television stations, and to a far lesser extent radio stations. Whenever they got purchased, a small bar was plastered onto their station IDs saying: Haha! Now we own your television station!

Acquisition era[edit | edit source]

Clorox later on bought companies such as SanFord SharCoal in 1984, Storer Broadcasting in 1986 and a 35% stake in Kellogg's and Sears in 1995. This caused the company’s profits to expand massively.

Later years and today[edit | edit source]

Seeing the mess that Sears was in by 2000, Clorox sold their stocks in Sears, but kept Kellogg’s.

Anti-Furry commercial and comments[edit | edit source]

In 2016, Bernies’s Bees aired a commercial depicting furries after touching their product lose all their fur in the worst way possible. It was horrible enough that Iowa banned the commercial. Also the furries were mad. When the furries posted on YouTube, Bernie’s Bees fought back, leading to further controversy.

Foray into Pharmaceuticals[edit | edit source]

After a hostile takeover by Trump Inc. in 2022, Clorox began experimenting on an "internal disinfectant" injectable drug as a treatment for Coronavirus against the advice of both Dr. Fauci and the FDA. The experiments were an epic failure, and Trump Inc. divested several months later.
