Bramble: The Mountain King
Bramble: The Mountain King is a puzzle platform horror adventure game Developed by Drimfrost Studios and published by Merge Games for the Playstation 5,Xbox 359 and Nintendo Switch. It was fully released on May of 2023 and it somewhat received positive acclaim from Gaming Critics alike.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
the game takes place in a 2d and 3d world, similar to another "horror game", the player traverses into platforms by jumping, grabbing, pulling, can't swim because he didn't learned swimming lessons. it can also use the Ball which act as a Light in a dark cave, reversed away tangled vines or used it to defend yourself in a third person view.

Olle, a eight-year-old boy abruptly wakes up in his bed in night, knowing that her sister, Lillemor ,is around nowhere to be seen, he goes outside of the room through a window and adventures off into the forest. while in a but charming obstacle forest, he finds a small decayed temple with some statue holding the Ball of Light, he takes it with him and continues upward which it lead to a destroyed castle, somehow he founds her sister, which she enjoys the view, this is where Olle learns how to use the Ball of Light and how the functions work.
after that, Lillemor walks next to the cliff as Olle does, but it breaks, causing both to fall down, he wakes up the next day in a more deep forest, he later find her sister until a succubus kidnapped her, now he literally have to save her, he also discover things doing the adventure like a Gnome village, The Frog King, then a Butcher. forget the other shit, lets move on.
he get's out of the cave, a Tall Naked Violinist, Playing Polish'ish Music as Olle have to be quiet or else he will got his head eaten like a Hot Dog. he eventually ends up swimming to a River where the Naked Violinist almost grabbed him and plunge to his death, swept away, survived but can't stand that longer after the River, he walks alone by himself in the dense fog. 1 hour later, he encounters a freshly clean girl with a white dress, he lays into her legs, comforting him, he says goodbye to her and thank for his comfort, then there's more crap obstacles and shit to platform into.
He Enters a swamp, which a sign lead him to a big wooden house, inside he found one thing, a book containing about summon the devil by killing the newborn child, Olle climbs up and secretly watches as a women gets the baby and holds it, Realizing that its going to happen to what the book says, decided to hurry up, He goes on a floating platform but he was confronted by a Skull Horse, Defending himself, He Luckily gets there into land, Sadly it was too late, the women died from hanging, and the baby already dies, Olle Buries the baby.
don't cry enough, as he met the traveler troll and lead to a Maze like place, where his sister was waiting for him, this however follow him to succubus, who kidnapped his sister, he fights the boss by disappearing the Dark Figures, this made her fall down in a sexy pose, the Ball of Light somewhat turned into a sword and he didn't know how to stab her heart, he did so later after 3 Tries and He jumps and stabs her heart, for the chance, he repeatedly stabs her face 10 times, 10 fucking times in a row, after that, he's face is completely now covered with blood.
Walking to a dirt road, filled with dead people. Disgusted, Olle fucking vomits so badly, til he reaches to a town, the town is nothing but filled with parasitic brain eating zombies who non other eat other human flesh, he reads a diary that the people are effected by a virus who turned them into this day, he later gets chased by zombies which they plunge into their deaths because zombies can't swim like Olle did, he goes to a castle and gets inside there, filled with some drug physic illusion, he gets out from a cave exit and gets inside the boat, not only here but the MILF, earlier from the game, appears and scares the shit out of him while he was rowing the boat, there he needs to avoid her Hoe in a nightmarish black void, almost killing him like a sharp paper cut, he knocks her out which lead him back to the boat he was in before and successfully gets into the island, were the mountain was.
he find the same exact castle he dream about and goes inside, the mountain lead to a giant hall,Olle had to pass through some Obstacle and shit again, after that, he meets the Troll Traveler again, entering the Son's room, he decided to ditch his clothes to make it more fancy, after putting it, he went inside a furnace place where he avoid being burned, he sneaks through a hole to the High Halls.
Olle opens up the locked door and reveals the king himself, who looked poorly aged out because of it, he climbs up to him, then the table, there he saw her "REAL" sister, but the stupid guy feed her into the kings mouth. his then eyes open, woken up, as The Epic Orchestra Version of In the hall of the mountain king plays, Olle must dodge his attacks, by removing the vines from his shoulders, after 4 times, it makes it even ASSHARD.
The King stops, believing that its his Son, Olle then climbs his beard which make him stand up to get his long waited crown, as he falls, Olle throws his Ball of Light, later she eventually gets out through his mouth, saddened by her brother, he appears that he survived but suffered a broken back, as she carried him to the door, the Giant Stone guy he made friends with, comes here to save him.
Lillemor wakes up in a fright, which its nothing than a whole Dream made up by her. didn't know where her brother was, he pops out at the window when she went there, showing his hand, mostly to "Come with me".

Bramble did Received good reviews what for reason and Critics, Since that it was a Rated M version of Little Nightmares, so Nobody Cares about some shit.
