'Chris Christopherson'
Chris Christopherson: May 9, ???? is the second son of the Grand Rei, and a captain of the Allfishingsundei fleet. He is an infamous pirate known to have eaten the Chemi Chemi No Mi (Chem Chem Fruit), becoming the most chemical man in the world.
Background[edit source]
As the second son of the Grand Rei, strength and notoriety was expected of Christopherson. After the fall of the Gold Leo, Christopherson's only brother, the Rei clan looked upon Christopherson as the only means of re-establishing the Rei Name. At an early age these expectations burdened him, however he somehow managed to flourish under this otherwise crippling burden. During adolescence Christopherson faced his archenemy Teirn O' Prime, who had achieved relative infamy as fruit-user criminal. O' Prime had eaten the Culo Culo No Mi (?), acquiring an ability with unknown properties. Regardless, Christopherson, then a Haki user, defeated O' Prime easily, receiving as a reward the Chemi Chemi No Mi. After obtaining his fruit abilities, Christopherson proceeded to the Pen Grand University Line as most rookies did at the time. While journeying, he established life-long friendships with his current crew members: the Alejandro and Gaylord Granappe.

Abilities[edit source]
Christopherson possesses the abilities of the Chemi Chemi no Mi, basically making him a living Rosetta Stone (turning ordinary metals to gold). However, his abilities are not limited to metals. On the contrary, he has the power to transmute any matter to any other matter, making him a valuable asset to any crew, and a great threat to the Nittanation Empire.
Current Events[edit source]
After defeating Yohanis of Austria, Christopherson was given a bounty of $800,000 beri. Realizing that Christopherson was a threat to the Nittanation Empire, Emperor Garam Spangoblier dispatched Admiral Funk to address the perceived threat. Funk, having eaten the Huh Huh No Mi (Huh Huh Fruit), was hierarchically more powerful (under the rules of the Kahns-In-Gold-Prelog Classification System), and easily defeated Christopherson with a fruit ability attack (Lindlar Enyne). However, before he was able to deliver a lethal blow to Christopherson, Funk fell under an illusion cast by the Alejandro, granting enough time for Gaylord Granappe to retrieve Christopherson, and ultimately the escape on the Allfishingsundei. Christopherson is currently receiving intensive care aboard the ship.
