Yup, you were right with the messages. I took a look at your edit history and I don't see any problems with making you an admin without a vote. Instead I have made you an admin and I will watch your edits for the next few days, but I don't expect any problems. A few notes: When deleting, if you have any doubts about an article, put it in VFD or QuickVFD so someone can have a look at it. Make sure you check page history and talk pages.
