The 18th Uncyclopedia General Assembly that is Yearly, commonly referred to as UGAY, opened in Zürich on 16 October 2023 and closed on 22 October 2023. After days of non-violent protests, on the final day the administration of Uncyclopedia voted to abandon its previous authoritarian regime and reform under a system more closely resembling that of Wikipedia.

Parodying Wikipedia was secured as the top priority of all Uncyclopedians for an unprecedented 18th year. It will be followed by the 19th Uncyclopedia General Assembly that is Yearly in 2024.
