Ah, Li Jiawei. Another of Singapore's greatest...

...foreign talents.

She has accomplished several noticable achievements in the realms of table tennis and, has her name written in some Singapore record book. After all, she lost to some china-girl to get silver in the Olympics. Strange but true. She was Singapore's flag-bearer in the 2008 Olympic games for Singapore.

Early years[edit | edit source]

Li Jiawei pictured here in a colored black and white photo.

Li Jiawei was born in the outskirts of the cold, cold Antarctica to James Bond and Bruce Li. Her mother, James Bond, died upon giving birth to Li Jiawei for an unknown reason. Howver, because of that incident, Bruce Li hated Li Jiawei as Jiawei indirectly "killed" her mother, Bruce Li. Li Jiawei was an only child.

When Jiawei was 3 years old, her father left the family. Bruce was so poor that he could not provide for his daughter Li Jiawei and decided to kill himself. According to Jiawei, Bruce did not die the usual way, but decided to die because of food-poisoning. He could get insurance money for his daughter. Even though he had much contempt for his daughter, he decided to provide for her in the end.

Jiawei, now 33 years old, remembers crying day after day, over her father's dead body, until a dog offered her a bone. She was said to have crushed the bone and ate the twinkly powder things that crushing the bone produced.

The dog then told her to become a table tennis player. How? we will never know.

Travelling to Singapore[edit | edit source]

So, after the long conversation with the doggie, Li Jiawei decided to give up China and go to Singapore. At least, she did that when she saw the sign "Singapore > You". Convinced by the Nazi-like propaganda, Li Jiawei decided to embark on her glorious journey to Singapore.
