> Watch wizards The two wizards hurl the most ferocious of flames at each other. The sheer heat of the inferno is immense. They are levitating over a pool of lava. One of the wizards sees you, and loses concentration on his opponent. A huge flame knocks him down into the fiery pool. After a few seconds, a tongue of fire comes out of the place where the wizard landed, and a deep, booming voice says, "Okay, Megaboz. You won this time, but I'm still a better wizard." The fire rockets away. The wizard who just defeated him floats down. "Good day to you", he says, "I am Megaboz, a mighty wizard. I was having my weekly duel with my slightly... uh... 'delusional' friend. I always win, but he insists he's better at the art of magic. Anyway, I got word of your appointment as the new Grueslayer. I must say, the previous one had quite an interesting death. It involved a pit of water grues and some potassium. Anyway, Grueslayer, you will need this if you wish for no flame demon to harm you." He hands you a ring. "This is a flame-demon ring. It's my small gift to you. It is merely a ring that has been enchanted to make a flame demon regard an adventurer as its friend, not its enemy. Flame demons don't really like meddling AFGNCAAPs.
