Minibank, also known in Britain as a cash machine or a hole-in-the-wall, is a point of accessing money. A small piece of card is inserted into the minibank, buttons are pressed, and money comes out.

History[edit | edit source]

Minibank is derived from the Norwegian word minibank, directly translated as a bank that is miniature in size. It was invented in the year 948 BC, by a group of norwegian cavemen needed a place to store stones of different size and proportions, in the knowledge that they would be safe and easy to reaquire.

At this time however, it was known by the the term rockbank. It was the Romans who then took this old idea and created biggusbankius. The term minibank however was first used in the early 20th century, as fancy newfangled technology made it possible for the bigbank as it had become translated, to become much smaller.

It was then Norwegian born Welshman Torgeir Kveim Sti coined the term minibank. Its usage in Wales however was made after some hippies from international non-state actor known simply as the IPS, left the popular seaside resort of Aberystwyth, a suburb of Borth, on a business trip to the Welsh School Assembly. It was them introduced into Welsh law, that cash machines were to become minibanks. The mistake of calling a minibank by any other word, is punishable by a fine of 27 pence. After the introduction by Sam Reynolds, Daniel Fernandes and Chris Hefferan, known more commonly as The Minibank Three, the IPS controls 68% of Welsh minibanks, translated into the Welsh word llynybwnk. Sam is now attempting to introduce minibanks to England, with Dan attempting this in Portugal.

Internal Working[edit | edit source]

It is a mystery at how minibanks work. Many great thinkers have tried to research the internal workings of minibanks, with no success. Popular belief is that every minibank is home to minifairies,

who are the internal hub of minibanks. However, recently an idea has been introduced by famous logic applier Johnny Kendrick that rather than minipixies, they were operated by miniclones of Eamonn Holmes. Other great thinkers who have been eluded by the mystery have included William Shakespeare, who once famously said "I aint gotta clue innit guv", Isaac Newton who said "Why couldn't a minibank have fallen on my head instead of that ******* apple", and Josef Stalin who claimed that "Its a capitalist conspiracy".
