BREAKING NEWS  **An Event**[edit | edit source]

An event occurred somewhere in the world today that will effect people.
This event occurred as a result either of a combination of events that occurred at other points in the past, or of one single event that happened some time ago.
It happened in a place somewhere in the world, and involved many, or not very many important people.  The person, people, or group responsible for letting or making this happen has yet to comment.  It has either finished or will continue for an unspecified period of time.
Already many important looking people wearing ties have been seen talking about it on television while looking slightly serious.

A Person With An important opinion says something[edit | edit source]

A person that some other people say is an expert in something relevant to this
said something about it that is maybe important.  However this person was
not directly involved with either making this event happen or preventing
 it.

Despite all this, this person seems to know a lot about the event.

As a direct result of living in a dynamic universe that follows a

linear path through time, Newtonian physics tells us that events can be perceived to follow one another, sometimes even as a direct result of each other. Through observation we can ascertain how these events are connected. That's what's happening here."

An Expert[edit | edit source]

This expert spoke at a gathering of people that happened as a direct result of the event.  This gathering involved lots of people talking about The Event. Some of them were Experts in their particular fields and agreed with the first expert.  Others expressed a similar opinion but in a different way.  Some experts disagreed with this.

However most of them probably agree: something has happened.

One issue that dominated discussion was the prospect of other, similar or even, different events happening at some unspecified point in the future, perhaps as a result of this event.

To tackle a growing feeling of some sort of unspecificed emotion, an employee of some publically funded central government organisation made this statement:

"Future events are not something that we are going to rule out."

Other Less Significant People React[edit | edit source]

The news of this event has divided the people affected by it, yet at the same
time brought them together.  There is a sense that they are all affected
by it.  Even people with an increased geographical distance from the
event have also been affected by it.  Other countries, some as far away
as it is possible to get on the surface of the earth without coming back on
yourself have also be affected.  The amount they are affected might be
seen to diminish proportionally to their distance, but this not the
case.  In fact their reaction has been just the same as everywhere else.
This is something some people have remarked upon as being noteworthy.  Of
the many statements made by people, one seems to sum up the experiences of
 most people:

'Things haven't been the same around here since that thing happened, and yet life is going on as normal''

Said one person, geographically near to the event.  '
