The Queen's Plate is the most prestigious annual prize in greyhound racing in Canada. It is presented each year by Her Majesty to the filly most deserving.

It used to be awarded for horse racing, but no more. It's a long story; see the article on greyhound racing.

In the past, the Queen's Plate was silver. However, to give the winning filly an award more fitting with the Queen's cultural heritage, the Queen's Plate now consists of English muffins served on a British porcelain plate.

The winner of this prestigious award is decided before the Food Court.
