The Omega Point is a theoretical state of infinite inebriation, postulated by the mathematical physics professor Frank J. Toppler in his popular book, The Physics of Insobriety.

Following in the tradition of the great abstract drinker Rene Descartes ("I drink, therefore I am"), Toppler sought to prove the existence of a higher form of intoxication. The Omega Point theory is inspired by the Christian concept of a Holy Spirit, in which one of the three Persons of the godhead is identified with an alcoholic beverage. Problematically the bible does not specify which of the three persons of the godhead is identified with an alcoholic beverage, but it is generally assumed by scholars and drunks to be nearer the end of the bottle.

To deal with this, Toppler has introduced the variable t to provide for necessary uncertainty.
