Born in Seoul, Korea, and raised in Wake Forest, North Carolina, Mara enjoys reading fantasy/sci-fi, poetry, as well as respectable works of literature (provided they are not by William Faulkner, Stephen Crane, or Chaim Potok).

Currently residing in California, Mara hopes to depart from this state quite soon.
