Alex Gerrard (born September 22nd 1982) is an English singer-songwriter, best known for being longest-serving current member in British girl group Sugababes and under the stage name Heidi Range. Range was an original member of Atomic Kitten between 1997 and 2001 alongside Liz McLarnon, Kerry Katona and Jenny Frost (who replaced Katona in 1998). The group split up in February 2001 citing a lack of cohesion over the future material of the group.

In August 2001, it was confirmed that Range had joined Sugababes, replacing Siobhan Donaghy, and has since notched up 6 UK #1 singles and 2 UK #1 albums with the various line-ups of the group. Range announced a break from the Sugababes in early 2012 and on February 20th 2012, it was revealed that Range would release her debut solo album through Mercury Records in June 2012.

Aside from her music work, Range has appeared as a guest judge on the 2010 series of The X Factor and also participated in the 2012 series of Dancing On Ice. She also runs a successful chain of clubs, pubs and restaurants whilst also running her own fashion label and fragrance range.

As of 2012, Range has had 33 UK top ten singles (10 UK #1s) and 10 UK top ten albums (4 UK #1s) as a member of Atomic Kitten and Sugababes and as a featured artist.
