A foreclosure is when a homeowner decides to thank their bank, by giving them his/her house.

Thank Your Bank Day[edit | edit source]

In 1956, the Federal Reserve, feeling it necessary to pay tribute to the institution that successfully controls 99% of the wealth, declared April 22nd "Thank Your Bank Day". All citizens were required to deposit a lump sum of approximately $500 USD to their local bank as a token of appreciation. Anyone that failed to do so was required to submit their home as collateral until the outstanding debts were payed off.
