Whoops! Maybe you were looking for the Women's Suffrage Rally of 1917?

Though this is a picture of a slut walking, it is not a picture of a SlutWalk.

A SlutWalkTM is a public demonstration in which sluts walk around in a large group to protest the use of the word "slut" to describe sluts. Like all bad ideas, the slut walk came about in Toronto, Canada (known for its abundance of dirty sluts) in April 2011 and has since been performed in many other cities. Though the majority of attendees are females, males are invited to show support by standing next to hot sluts and not raping them. Several men have, bearing signs such as "I only rape women in parkas", "I am holding a sign", and "Uncyclopedia rocks da house."

History[edit | edit source]

When a police officer informed a group of concerned sluts at York University that dressing like a slut increases one's chances of being raped, the incredulous crowd of sluts was offended. The most offended was, understandably, a feminist, who decided an organized public demonstration of partial nudity would be a better course of action than writing a strongly-worded letter.

The intent of the first slut walk was to mock the statement made by the police officer, but the plan backfired as several attendees were brutally raped. Most of the rapists claimed their actions were purely opportunistic, as a large group of barely-clothed women is ideal for committing rape. Because so many attendees were preoccupied with walking around like sluts and holding humorous signs, they were completely oblivious to the rapes occurring among them.
