Prepare for the game[edit | edit source]
First, determine which level of BSOD you're playing.
Level 1: A Level 1 game says "Windows - bla bla bla - *Press any key to terminate the application. - *Press CTRL-ALT-DEL to restart your computer. You will lose all unsaved work in all aplications."
Level 2: A level 2 game says "A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer, bla bla bla, Beginning dump of physical memory."
Level 3: A Level 3 game says "Windows Boot Error - Windows Boot Manager has experienced a problem. - Status: bla bla bla - Info: An error occured transerring exectuion. - You can try to recover the system using Microsoft Windows System Recovery Tools. (You might need to restart the system manually.) - If the problem continues, please contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer. - SPACE=Continue" and is red instead of blue.
Playing Level 1[edit | edit source]
Bang on the computer keyboard like a monkey.
Playing Level 2[edit | edit source]
Shoot your computer monitor with a gun and drive bolts through your motherboard.
Playing Level 3[edit | edit source]
Unplug your computer and bury it. Next week, dig it up, open the case and rip out all the parts like crazy without even trying to figure out what you're doing. Take it into a hotel, get a one-night reservation and through it out a 21st-story window.
