"Bagsy" – To stake a claim on an object or task, or to decline or strongly refute the same

If someone claims a Bagsy or a Bagsy not on something, it is to be.

“Bagsy telling your Mum I’m pregnant"

This person will be the one to cruelly break the news to her partner’s mother, which may cause her to collapse with grief.

"Bagsy not sitting next to Grandma”

This person will not be sitting next to Grandma under any circumstances. Someone else will have to tolerate the smell of piss, lavender and digestive biscuits.

IMPORTANT

To try to home in on someone else's Bagsy is considered the worst thing in the world. You are an absolute disgrace and should crawl off and die. Walking naked around a pre-school nursery shouting “PAEDO AVAILABLE FOR CHILDMINDING SERVICES” is preferable to being caught trying to do someone out of a Bagsy.

Bagsy's are currently unrecognised in a court of law, which is a shame. Tinkers and knackers just would not steal from the corner shop if they knew the shopkeeper had Bagsy on everything in it.
