a Bicycle, also referred to as a Bi-Cycle, or a By-Sickle is a human or equivalent species powered vehicle that are purchased in packs of 52. They have been produced by the United States Printing Company since the 19th century when they were invented. Bicycles are used for many recreational and sporting events, such as BMX Racing, Poker, Mountain Biking, and Go Fish.

A common Bicycle usually measures in length as 3.5cm, however training Bicycles may go as low as 2.5cm, and professional bicycles (sometimes referred to as Bigycles) can go up to 5cm.

Deck[edit | edit source]

A deck is a common resting place for Bicycles, right behind a hand. An average Bicycle deck consists of 52 printed bikes, consisting of two wheels, one seat, one base, one silver ringing desk bell, one handle, one handle base, one to two chains, and a pedal. Each set of Bicycles contain 40 standard numbered cards, including the ace, which gains higher traction than the others. 4 Jacks, two coated in blood, two coated in oil. 4 Jesters, which come with a built in horn. And 8 members of royalty who just can’t seem to get along, and you bet they get into some wild antics!

While often discarded, decks also come with 2 Joker cards, which you may know from the hit film Joker (2019), which you can watch on demand with Amazon Prime Video which you can get for only 14.99 a month, can you believe that!?

Games[edit | edit source]

Many games are played with bicycles both competitively and causally, including:

  • Go Fish: A game where the player(s) each have 7 cards, the goal being to make matches with your cards by guessing other players cards and trading with them. If the other player does not have the guessed cards than the going player “Goes fish” and picks up a card. Concurrently, my so-called friend Randy also “Goes fish” in my pocket and makes off with 40$, meaning I have to sleep without heating this week.
  • BMX: BMX, or Bicycle Mass Execution is a game in which multiple riders race in several matches with the last place driver being murdered by the Bykemaster, this continues until the last player remains.
  • Poker: A game in which 3 cards are laid down on the table by the dealer, and the player is tasked to guess which cards they are. If the player gets it wrong, Randy gets to poke you in the eye, he also gets to do this if you question the game’s rules apparently, despite the game not being poker, and the rules being unfair. When a player calls the dealer out he gets super mad and all your other “friends” gang up on you and tell you that you’re not “being cool” and to “chill out” despite the fact i’ve done nothing but chill out since I had to cut my heating. First player to guess all three cards wins.
  • Pick Up 52: A practical joke in where the host drops a deck of Bicycles and forces the player to pick them up.
  • Randy’s Pick Up 52: Identical, but instead of Bicycles the player is forced to pick up broken glass with their bare hands while the other players play keep-away with the bandaids until you finish. I do not like this version.

Notes[edit | edit source]

Not to be confused with Bicycle or Bicycle…
