Noun[edit | edit source]
Value added reductionism
- The practice of creating the appearance of enhanced value while, in fact, diminishing the overall quality. Used most often in product and software development, but becoming quite popular among cynical American politicians, mostly Republican, and corporate executives (although few can actually pronounce the phrase correctly, usually saying, "you know, that value added thing.").
