Prenuptial agreement (plural Prenuptial agreements)

  1. A worthless piece of paper whose sole purpose is to allow divorce lawyers to make money before a divorce as well as after it, to increase the expense of a divorce by mandating a hearing to have the agreement invalidated, and to provide comic relief to the employees of the divorce court.
