Welcome to the No Space Biweek! From SUN 29/9/2024 at 1 AM to MON 14/10/2024 at 1 AM, we’re embarking on a monumental quest to eliminate unnecessary spaces in our articles. This event spans 360 hours of pure space-fighting glory, aimed at tightening our prose and enhancing readability.

Spaces, while essential in proper grammar, can sometimes go overboard. This initiative is about streamlining our articles, ensuring they read smoothly, and making our content even more engaging. Plus, who doesn’t love a good space-themed pun?

- Duration: 2 weeks + 1 day (360 hours)

How It Works[edit source]
- Article Selection: During the No Space Biweek, participants will identify articles that are prime candidates for space removal.
- Voting Process:
- Once an article is suggested, other participants can vote.
- If an article receives 4 agrees, we will remove the necessary spaces within it. But if we receive 3 disagrees or no agrees after 4 days ago of its' request, all spaces will be kept.
- An article can only make one attempt to clinch space removal, violation of this rule will make the user who created the 2nd version of the same exact article will get withdrawn from the event permanently.
- Exceptions:
- Spaces in link targets (non-displayed text) and formatting that requires spaces will be preserved to ensure clarity and functionality.
- Special consideration will be given to stylistic spaces that contribute to the humor or character of the article.
How to Participate[edit source]
- Browse Articles: Search through our vast collection of articles and identify those that could benefit from some space trimming.
- Post Suggestions: Use the following format to suggest articles:
- Article Title: Use the same exact title for the review
- Reason for Suggestion: Put a good reason why (necessary) spaces should be removed
- Vote on Suggestions: Simply respond to existing suggestions with a thumbs up or a "Agree" to indicate your support.
