General Repositories- Flickr's Creative Commons section has millions of photos using the Creative Commons license. Please pay attention to the specific license so you use it properly.

- Wikimedia Commons is also good
- PixaBay has 80,000 different Creative Commons images
- The New York Public Library is browsable by public domain images
- Photo Pin, free photos for

- Open Clip Art, public domain clip art
- Image After has 28,000 free images
- Public Domain Photos at USA.gov
- Naval History and Heritage Command has an online library full of public domain images of naval stuff
- U.S. Air Force Photo Archives
- NASA's "Great Images in NASA" library, public domain pictures of space and the moonlanding hoax
