A censored version of one of the many, many photos in question.

Unwanted Member is a prescient early rock 'n' roll song recorded by Elvis Presley. Despite being written in 1962, decades before America's young men decided to communicate almost entirely via pictures of their genitals, the song tells the story of a young Presley harassing a woman over social media.

The lyrics were written by Presley himself, who is said to have taken inspiration from his almost obsessive habit of posting photos of his genitals to young female fans. While many of them obliged by meeting him for sex acts (especially girls from the South), Presley focused his attention in the lyrics on one girl who had the pluck to refuse his advances.

Lyrics[edit | edit source]

Unwanted Member!
Unwanted Member!
I sent a picture to a girl, man
Of my dick and sack
Told her that I was horny
I got a message back
She'd written in it:
"Unwanted member
Best left unshown
Wipe this number
Off your phone
Where are your morals?
What's wrong with chat?"
I write "I'm sorry"
And I send another back
I wrote a message to her mailbox
"You want my special D"?
Bright and early next morning
She emailed back to me
She'd written in it:
"Unwanted member
Best left unshown
Nothing worse than
Random bone"
This time I'm gonna take my cock out
And put it right in her hand
And if the cops come the very next day
Then I'll understand - she doesn't want it
Unwanted member
Best left unshown
Wipe this number
Off your phone
Unwanted member!
Unwanted member!
Unwanted member!
Unwanted member...
