The real Timothee Chalamet could have been at the lookalike contest and you'd never know.

NEW YORK -- Last October heartthrob twink Hollywood actor Timothee Chalamet crashed his own lookalike contest, and in true Chalamet fashion, he didn't win. And even if he had won, we at UnNews can exclusively confirm that the "real" Chalamet was actually another heartthrob twink Hollywood actor... Finn Wolfhard.

At an awards junket for A Complete Unknown, UnNews asked Chalamet about the lookalike contest. "What lookalike contest?" he asked incredulously. "My agent never said anything about it." Then he checked his emails and voicemails. "Oh shit, yes he did. My bad. I wish I could have attended."

"You mean that wasn't you?"

The search was on for the "real" Chalamet at that doppelganger fest.

Months later. Wolfhard, while promoting his A24 fantasy flick The Legend of Ochi and his Neon directorial debut slasher Hell of a Summer, let it slip that he posed as the Dune actor at the event. "April Fool's! I bet you didn't know this, but we Canadians celebrate April Fool's Day in October. I never understood why, but hey, it's fun."

Chalamet took the joke in stride and told us we wouldn't be pursuing legal action. "At least until I win my case against Chloe Fineman. But you know, [older sister, actress] Pauline loves Stranger Things, so she'd be pissed if I sued Finn."

Police shut down the "unpermitted" event, issued $500 fines, and arrested at least one lookalike, who looked so much like Chalamet that this writer is convinced we've been bamboozled.
