Jacques Gilbert[edit source]
Jacques Gilbert (born Jacqueline Edward Cullen Gilbert) is a French Canadian, African American, professional hockey player. Though born with a severe case of dyslexia he over came his disability to become CEO of several Fortune 500 companies. After retiring from professional hockey at the age of 45, Gilbert went on to become a professor of economics at Berkley Collage in California. Gilbert quit his job at Berkley after only six months to pursue a long seeded dream to become a professional hip-hop artist. Despite several established connections in the hip-hop community, such as Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, his music never really caught on partially because his raps didn't rhyme due to his dyslexic nature.
