Note
The Admin warning banned user template series is designed so that only administrators are able to see it. As such, for non-admin users, transcluding this template will, at first glance, not do anything.
Usage
Admin warning banned user templates are meant to be used if a user is known to be guilty of a crime so severe that they are to never be unbanned, and that any admin who attempts to unban said user will have their administrative rights revoked. This warning is not meant to be lightly used: it is generally used for users known to have committed severe crimes against a fellow Uncyclopedian or other person which could constitute a felony (or international equivalent), with evidence to back it up. It should only be added when there is administrative consensus.
To use this template, simply type {{Admin warning banned user/TYPE|USERNAME}}
.
In userspace, simply type {{Admin warning banned user/TYPE}}
. The template assumes that you are referring to the current userpage, and fills in the user's username; for example, adding this template on User:Example would produce "Example has been banned because (...)".
Currently, only one Admin warning banned user template is in use:
- Template:Admin warning banned user/sex - for use if a user is guilty of sexual harrassment, grooming, child pornography or other crimes of a similar nature. It generates the following for admins and bureaucrats only:
- Its all-users equivalent is Template:Warning banned user/sex.
Notice to sysops: USERNAME has been banned because of an offense of a sexual nature (e.g. sexual harassment, non-consensual distribution of intimate media (revenge porn), grooming, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), pedophilia, lolicon/shotacon, zoophilia/bestiality, etc.). Uncyclopedia exercises a zero-tolerance, retroactively applicable policy on offenses of a sexual nature. If a sysop unbans USERNAME without thorough consensus from other sysops, they will immediately have their administrative privileges revoked and be subjected to a ban of at least one week. |
