March 28, 2008. My German mother read "fairy tales" to me in German, as a kid. Some were about Eulenspiegel.I was curious who wrote this,and who Eulenspiegel was supposed to be, not having heard anything about him anywhere in my adult life, not even on the game show Jeopardy. I don't remember where these stories were read from, but they might have been included with Grimm's fairy tales. Is Eulenspiegel related to Faust? Hoping for a wise answer from you.
