I didn't want to use up your Pee Review, so I'm posting it here.
Humour: | 7 | Adolescent, but done well |
Concept: | 7 | Fairly good parody |
Prose and formatting: | 9 | Very good construction. Solid structure overall. fix typoes and/or grammar problems. Need not so much detail. One gets bogged down. |
Images: | 7 | Not a lot of them, but the ones present are good. Want more. |
Miscellaneous: | 6 | Be careful with using acronyms. Could make article more inaccessible. Also, "More quotes" mainly isn't funny because it reads more like a Village Dump page rather than as a collection of independent quotes, which I feel would be more funny |
Final Score: | 36 | I hope this helps. This is the first article I ever reviewed. |

Humour: | 6 | There was some funny stuff, but not enough. |
Concept: | 8 | Good subject for mockery, parody, satire, and a stink-bomb. |
Prose and formatting: | 5 | While technically correct, the prose could use some work. See endnotes. |
Images: | 5 | Average images. Needs a couple of comical photoshops. |
Miscellaneous: | 7 | A good idea, and a lot of work has been done...but I wish it were better. |
Final Score: | 31 | |

Endnotes: On prose, first:
- "The CW Television Network, or more casually The CW, is a television network in the United States launched in the 2006-07 television season."
Not bad...the nearly identical modifying phrases "in the United States" followed by "in the 2006-07 television season" is awkward, perhaps "is an American television network launched in the 2006-07 season" would flow better. Personally, I would set the parenthetical aside "or more casually The CW" off with dashes, and use some typography to help the reader out. "The CW Television Network -- casually called The CW -- is an American television network launched in the 2006-07 season."
- "It is a merger of The Network with Teen Dramas and Cartoons and The Network That Doesn't Have Star Trek Anymore."
The reader hits this sentence and he thinks, OK, The CW is a merger between --
- The Network with Teen Dramas, and
- Cartoons, and
- The Network That Doesn't Have Star Trek Anymore.
No, wait, of course not...but the reader probably has stumbled. Use italics --
- It is a merger of The Network with Teen Dramas and Cartoons and The Network That Doesn't Have Star Trek Anymore.
-- or perhaps quotes --
- It is a merger of "The Network with Teen Dramas and Cartoons" and "The Network That Doesn't Have Star Trek Anymore".
Seems kind of nitpicky and trivial, doesn't it? Well, it is! Unfortunately, readers don't automatically understand what the writer means to say. They stumble onto an article and start reading, and they are in a state of virgin ignorance. They have no idea what the hell is going on!!
If the writing is a clear, well-lit pathway leading them deeper into the article then they might follow it. If they get confused then relief is just a click of the Random page link away.
The long series of quotes at the end is probably going to be ignored by many readers. And many of them aren't very funny anyway.
I'm sorry that I'm posting this review because I'm very uninvolved in television culture. Perhaps someone else who has a better sense of what's hot and what's snot will pipe up.----OEJ 23:07, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
If you guys are going to try and be funny atleast get somethings right[edit source]
You have it listed about a 5'4 blonde girl involved in a gang fight to advertise for Veronica Mars. But if you are trying to say it is Kristen she is only 5'1. Also Kristen would never be involved in dog fights since she loves animals. Also do you guys hate her or something because it look like you attacked her alot in this artical.

Humour: | 6 | Didn't solidly laugh at anything, but it admittedly takes quite a bit to make me laugh. |
Concept: | 9 | I hate the new WB too! |
Prose and formatting: | 8 | Nice and easy to read, flowed well. |
Images: | 7 | A decent bunch of 'em, but not many could have stood on their own very well. |
Miscellaneous: | 5 | I loved the schedule, but then again, most of the article revolved around it. Where's our executive scandals? |
Final Score: | 35 | Well written, well executed. A bit too many redlinks at the end- you should consider de-linking some of those. |
