The Hindenburg Disaster[edit source]
This should be merged with The Hindenburg Disaster (That's half factual and 55% false)
Marc
- Disagree. This article shouldn't be merged, but should instead be redone completely in the style of the Hindenburg-Announcer-Guy. For example:
- "The LZ 129 Hindenburg has just been constructed here in 1938, and... oh God! Secretary Ickes has banned the sale of helium to Germany! Oh the humanity, the gas is cut off! Innocent people are delayed from their precious flights! Relatives dying by the thousands during the downtime, shipments delayed until they are of no use! Dear God, what abomination of science gone wrong - the craft has to be filled with hydrogen straight from the bowels of hell! The flames, the flames a thousand feet high are possible with this gas! Now they're firing up the Daimler-Benz engines, and... oh, the horsepower! 1200 skeletal horses of might each, screaming with the the Nazi flag flying overhead! What tragedy has the folly of man engineered in this momentous case of technology gone mad!?"
- Something like that. :) -- Rei 06:04, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
whoops[edit source]
I didn't notice the Disaster, but it's totally different and it took me 5 minutes to make the picture in paint.
Newness[edit source]
I'm prettying it up a bit, as well as adding in the "Oh the huge Manatee" pic, which fit well with the theme. And no, i do not think it should be merged, redundant and contradictory articles have a certain charm.
