Instead of a full-protected page, can this get made into a semi-protected one? The violaters seemed to only be IP adresses, and members that have been here a week wouldn't likely blank this. --Kafeithekeaton 03:43, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Uh, no problem with the picture itself or anything, but concerning where you got it, that picture with the whole gay nurse thing, it's definitely fanart. And apparently it was just swiped from some forum upon which whatever thread or page it came from is now mysteriously missing. I'm not too familiar with Uncyclopedia, I know they do lots of humourous slander or something along those lines, but that's not the issue I'm concerned with. Unless it is fair use, posting a copyrighted piece of art like that without any form of permission, explanation, etc. is breaking copyright law and considered morally unethical among pretty much almost any artist as well as many non-artists. There isn't even credit given to the original artist, it doesn't tell where the piece was originally posted, etc., and even if you had all that it'd still be violating the copyright holder's rights unless you asked permission, it was under public domain (which it most likely is not), or fair use is on your side (which doesn't seem likely, and if this excuse was brought up I would have no problem arguing the case). I'm sorry to be all art-nazi about this, but I can't stand seeing stolen art around, it's actually quite upsetting for many people when it happens. Aaand seeing as, from reading the bottom of this edit-discussion-page thing, there's something that says 'DO NOT SUBMIT COPYRIGHTED WORK WITHOUT PERMISSION' in capitalized bold letters, I'm guessing that it's also against Uncyclopedia's rules to have that picture there and it'd be OK if I took it down (that is... if it's possible for me, I think this page may be partially blocked). If I can't, I humbly request that someone else who can may do it for me as soon as they see this?
