Oh man, I remember our Latin teacher bringing this up for the Latin word fenestra (1st declension, feminine, window). This is definately one of the best words in the English language. --[[User:Nintendorulez|Nintendorulez | talk]] 12:41, 23 February 2006 (UTC) How about defenestration as a theory of national defense? for example, the creative use of an army or air force to protest the high price of oil.
The coining of the word[edit source]
Defenestration (lit. "out the window") was, I'm pretty sure, coined to describe political change in Prague. Whenever those Czechs wanted to change religions or overthrow an imperial overlord, someone got thrown out the window. This MUST be covered in the article!!!!!
