The article doesn't completely suck. It starts out OK; it just descends into suckage in the remaining three fourths. The first 3 pictures are cute; the turkish coffee is even a little bit funny.
I respectfully suggest a possible theme: coffee as programmer fuel (or, perhaps more generally, as office worker fuel). Right now, I lack the time, the energy, and the muse. Otherwise, I would try to "flesh it out" myself.

I vote for removal of that template, immediately.
